This part of the city, is Lisbon’s modern neighbourhood which was redesigned to host the World Exhibition in 98. And became one of Lisbon ex-libris concerning modern arquitecture. The Train Station designed by Santiago Calatrava is definitely one of its highlights.
But there are many other attractions in the area such as the Oceanário, the second biggest aquarium in Europe, or the Ski lift next to the river that provides outstanding views over the southern margins of the Tagus River.
