If you still haven’t done water sports but want to try it out, there are several schools from north to south to help you in this adventure. The beach options are numerous: Malhão beach, Aivados Beach, Zambujeira do Mar, Odeceixe, Carrapateira or even Sagres. What’s difficult is choosing your destination.

Rota Vicentina

Rota Vicentina
The Rota Vicentina is a 350-kilometre walking route that runs along the Portuguese southwest coast from Santiago Cacém to Cape of Saint Vincent. It is ideal for hiking, biking or even horse riding lovers. Our proposal is for you experience the destination in the most genuine way possible. Within the Rota Vicentina, you can choose between the fishermen’s route, which has the most beautiful scenery on the coastline and secluded beaches. This route can only be done by foot. The second option is the historical route, with sections through the cork oak and pine woods and golden plains. The historical route can be done on foot or by MTB.
Our suggestion: do a bit of each!
