When visiting the north of Portugal, make sure you visit the wine cellars in Porto. There are a number of Douro estates with various products, but the quality of the experience is undeniable. That is why you must pay a visit to the cellars where the wines age slowly, accompanied by a good glass of wine and enjoy the aroma of the wines that really are the nectar of the Gods.

The Foz Côa Park

More recently, as a result of the intention to build a dam in the River Douro, a large amount of rock art was discovered, giving rise to the largest outdoor Palaeolithic museum, declared a Cultural Heritage Site by Unesco.
