Santiago de Alfama is located in one of the most known and typical districts of Lisbon, Alfama. Famous for the fado that in this district is sung and with a background composed by the Castle of São Jorge and Miradouro de Santa Luzia, here you will feel like a true local.

This unique hotel was once a palace dating from the 15th century and a shirt factory. The charm of other times was recovered to give you a remarkable experience in Lisbon.

Heleen is responsible for Santiago de Alfama, who after studying in Lisbon, fell in love with the city. She studied finance in London and later moved to Alentejo. She ended up dedicating herself to the hotel business with the Hotel Chiado16 and now, with Santiago de Alfama.

Visit the castle of São Jorge or enjoy the views of Lisbon from the Miradorouro de Santa Luzia. Wander through Alfama, taste the typical gastronomy and listen singing the fado in a typical house of Alfama

From Lisbon airport take the 2nd round towards IC19 Sintra, take exit 3 towards Chelas / Areeiro / Aeroporto and at the roundabout take the 3rd exit. Continue towards Areeiro and at the roundabout take the 5th exit. Continue towards St. Jorge's Castle and as you approach, follow the signs to the viewpoint of Santa Luzia. The Santiago de Alfama is located on the street of Santiago, a little further ahead.
