Within 1h from Porto, Arouca village is surrounded by nature including Arouca Geopark, recognized by UNESCO. One of its ex-libris, Paiva Walkways or “Passadiços do Paiva”, an 8,5km walking route amidst stunning lush green nature, stairways and within the longest pedestrian suspended bridges in Portugal, definitely is an unmissable activity.
