"Where the silence makes time stand still"

Once Upon a Time...

In shades of white and deep-red, in the heart of Serra de São Mamede, you will find the charming Quinta da Dourada. This estate has belonged to the Malato Correia family for over 200 years, and this generation has transformed it into a desirable tourism project. The rustic style and the warm tones that accompany the entire decor perfectly fit this estate into the landscape, giving it genuine features.

This house has plenty of nooks and crannies that invite you to relax and enjoy lazing around. Only a few minutes away, you must explore the city of Portalegre, of Roman origin, whose rich monuments are an invitation to walk in the historical centre and along its streets going back to a centuries-old Portugal with a great history to tell.

The four houses and two rooms have the comfort you need to leave stress and routine far behind. All houses have names of saints which protects the Quinta, except for one which is precisely the House of the Unnamed Saint (“Casa do Santo Sem Nome”).
