The Experience

Discover the waves of Peniche, a city surrounded by beaches and that is considered the "Capital of the Wave"! In this fishing town, the links to the sea are several and the surf is a very special one. Enjoy surfing lessons at one of the best beaches in Peniche, Baleal, ideal for learning or improving your technique. Instructors will be present during classes so you can catch the best waves!
Your home will be Mercearia d'Alegria, a boutique guest house that was once a traditional grocery store and that keeps the old moth with typical decoration of the region. After surfing lessons relax on the patio or discover Peniche by bike, visit Peniche Fortress and watch the ocean. At the restaurant, order the fresh fish and seafood caught in the waters that bathe the city.
Do not leave Peniche without visiting the berlengas, a small and charming archipelago and where you can go snorkelling.
