"A charming palace in the centre of the historical village of Lousã, full of details from bygone times"

Once Upon a Time...

In the heart of the historical centre of the charming village of Lousã, stands an 18th century building with a coat of arms, the former palace of the Salazares, which is today known as the Palácio da Lousã Boutique Hotel.

The lovely rooms in this palace are distributed over the two wings of the hotel, an older one full of charm and a more recent one with contemporary and minimalist decor. The decor in the older wing and the public areas of the hotel is distinctively classical, 18th century charm, showing refinement and distinction. A true experience of bygone times. The original character of the palace is maintained in many of the decorative details, such as the main staircase, the ceilings of several rooms and the frescoes in the dining room. Inspire yourself.

Lousã is the gateway to getting to know the lovely schist villages nearby and which Lousã is part of. Years of history, tradition and authenticity in a genuinely well-preserved environment.

Serra da Lousã is also a major destination for adventure sports and nature, ideal for cycling and mountain biking, 4X4 vehicles and walking.
