Portugal offers some of the best wines in the world. Wine production is a very Portuguese tradition and now that Portuguese wines - and not only Port wine - are becoming famous all over the world, it is the perfect opportunity to meet Portugal and its beauty alleged to wine tradition.
We invite you to fall in love with the surroundings of Douro, the green hills and steep slopes where the vineyards are, the Douro river that follow you all the way and the beautiful city of Porto. Feel the charm that this unique landscape offers you.
Once you meet the North of Portugal, go south to the capital. Lisboa is also connected with wine traditions, history and breath-taking beach views. The sandy grounds and moderate climate allows to produce unique wines in this region.
It is now time to meet the landscape of inner Alentejo, with fields that continue beyond the horizon. In this region we invite you to feel the tranquillity, to enjoy nature and to explore the best wines of the unique vineyards that only the lands of Alentejo can provide.
Enjoy this authentic wine experience through this country full of traditions, good food and some of the most distinguished nectars.
Arrival to Porto’s airport. Meet this wonderful city and sleep at 1872 River House.
The next destination is Penafiel, where you will find the welcoming Solar Egas Moniz Charm Hotel. Take the rest of the day to enjoy the peace and quiet of this lovely country house. Explore the wonders of this wine region and visit Quinta da Aveleda for a wine experience. Taste some wines and visit the wine cellar. Sleep in Solar Egas Moniz.
After a delicious breakfast at Solar Egas Moniz head to Quinta do Vallado in Douro region where you will sleep and do a workshop which includes: initiation to wine tasting, oenology, blending and wine culture. Enjoy the rest of the day with a walk through the vineyards and valleys around the hotel. Sleep in Quinta do Vallado.
Finish your wonderful experience in Douro with your last night at Vintage House Douro Wine Hotel, in Pinhão. Pinhão has wonderful vineyards and trails, take the N222 road from Quinta do Vallado to Vintage House Douro, side by side with Douro River, considered to be one of the most beautiful roads in the world. Enjoy the ride. Sleep in Vintage House Pinhão.
Once you met the North of Portugal it’s time to go a bit south until you reach the region of Dão and Bairrada. These two regions have also strong relations to wine culture, Bairrada is also the oldest region in the country to produce sparkling wine. Make sure to visit the wine museum and taste some wines in the numerous wine cellars. The head to Lisbon and sleep in the central Browns Boutique Hotel.
You are now in Lisbon. Here the vines grown in sandy grounds and the moderate climate allows to produce fortified wines. Make your way through Sintra National Park until you reach Colares Regional Cellars to do some wine tasting. Then drive to Cabo da Roca and make your way back to Lisbon through Guincho and Carcavelos. Sleep in Browns Boutique Hotel.
After your breakfast in Lisbon, the next destination is Alentejo. Meet our second most famous wine region and its never ending plains. Visit Herdade das Servas to do a visit to the wine cellar and do a wine tasting. You can also have lunch or dinner at their restaurant. Sleep in Pateo dos Solares Cham Hotel.
Take your breakfast very peacefully and get prepared for your last day in Alentejo Wine Land. Between the fields head to João Portugal Ramos Winery. In this wine producer you will be an enologist for one day and produce your own wine, you can also taste wines and lunch. In this last night in Alentejo, sleep in Pateo dos Solares Charm Hotel.
After your last typical breakfast, head to the airport. If you choose to stay a few more days, it will be our pleasure to change the tour and tailormade it for you.

Rent a car for 8 days arranged through Europcar (pick up at Porto airport and dropoff at Lisbon airport). The car is a Seat Ibiza with A/C or similar. However we can tailormade to your needs.
